PROFILE
We are a small family run business, which has been in the Roofing industry for over 25 years. Whilst working for ourselves we have carried out work on numerous churches & historical buildings in & around London & Southern counties.
Our work experience ranges from string lead flashings, back gutters, lead slates, window trays, dormers & minor roofing works etc, to completely renewing major lead & High performance Felt roofs. We also make and supply to other Builders and Roofing contractors, e.g. Aprons, Back gutters. All the work carried out is completed to the highest standards of the Lead Development Association Requirements, and is fully guaranteed.
We are a very competitive company, so if there is any future Roofing work to be carried our in your area, may it be of large or small contract, please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of any further assistance. Assuring you of our very best attentions at all times.
Just remember, Lead is keeping the elements at bay. Properly made and fixed Lead Roofing can last for up to 100 years or more, and by having work done by our Lead Development Association vetted Leadworkers (not a roofer trying his luck) you will not be disappointed.
GREEN CREDENTIALS
Lead is the most recycled and recovered building material in use today. It will last longer and age more beautifully than any of it's synthetically produced substitutes. It is more enviromentally friendly than alternatives made by the petro-chemical industry. Evan it's reclamation is energy efficient.
Sustainable development is at the heart of most goverment's enviromental policies these days. By maximising recycling, minimising waste and through sheer longevity, Lead is unbeatable as an example of a sustainable building material.
Today's alternative materials can fail after 10-15 years, ie, Sarnafill, Asphalt, GRP Fibreglass ect, and because of the way they are manufactured and their need for early replacement - they have both a negative cost and environmental impact.
Specifying Lead will help keep other materials (some of which are difficult and expensive to recycle) from entering the eco-system where they could easily end up in landfill.
Studies by European research and development institutes show that synthetic materials developed as a potentail alternative to Lead, have significant impacts on global warming. And as well as we all know, climate change is one of the biggest threats to the world's enviroment. Detailed scientific papers are fully available to substaniate these claims.
Finally, consider this - if the Lead roof you specify needs replacing in the future for whatever reason, it will probably be in the time of your great, great grandchildren and even then, the Lead can be stripped off and it's recycling value can contribute to the cost of the new roof - meanwhile today's so-called alternatives will fail a century or more before!
